Depending on your art, your goals and your collector base, you may consider exhibiting in a variety of locations – from galleries, to ‘at homes,’ to local venues.

The important thing is to be clear about what you want to gain from the experience, and where you are heading as an artist. You also need to be realistic about these things. Doing research, talking to other artists and being honest with yourself are the best ways to get yourself in a good position.
